Ignite is the bike which kickstarted Ride Fire, the fuel to the flame if you will. As we head towards the end of 2024 though the Ignite as you currently see it is effectively our third edition, and our most head turning one to date.
RF/I.03 (Ride Fire / Ignite – mark – 3) takes on a different colour palette to our previous models and greater represents the future direction of Ride Fire. The original Ignite was a completely black affair as is common for us with first editions and prototypes. If you scan our social feeds you may well see snippets of these bikes still lighting up the roads albeit them very subtle with minimal branding. Our Dark Metal Ignite (mark 2) is the edition that fired us more greatly into the public consciousness and was well reviewed by Cyclist Magazine. This season some members of our race team were racing – and winning – on the Dark Metal edition. Some of our demo fleet are in fact Dark Metal version Ignites, with these bikes being the final models using our initial logo.
The current Ignite colourway is named ‘Storm Grey’, representing a perfect blend of lightness of colour together with ‘mood’ to arrive at that particular je ne sais quoi that bikes of a certain quality have. It also bears our updated branding with slightly rounded edges to the lettering, our distinctive ‘R’, and flame decals that beautifully add the finishing touches.
Our about to be released 2nd edition Inferno features many elements as seen in the finish of Ignite whilst also making it’s own statement. All Ride Fire bikes are born out of passion, with key handling and performance characteristics forming the performance basis of all models, whilst also being well considered and impactful.
